DIRECTIONS

The race is located right off the 5 Freeway at Magic Mountain Parkway. The same exit for going to the Magic Mountain theme park.

Below are directions to the primary parking zone.

FROM 5 FREEWAY

  1. Take the 5 Freeway to Magic Mountain Parkway
  2. Exit at Magic Mountain Parkway
    • Coming from Northbound 5, turn RIGHT onto Magic Mountain Parkway.
    • Coming from Southbound 5, turn LEFT onto Magic Mountain Parkway, going under the freeway.
  3. Go past the first light and at the street after the light, turn RIGHT onto Wayne Mills Pl.
  4. Turn LEFT into the parking lot and park.

FROM SANTA CLARITA

  1. Navigate to Magic Mountain Parkway heading west towards 5 FWY
  2. Turn LEFT at Tourney Rd. 
  3. Turn LEFT onto Wayne Mills Pl.
  4. Turn RIGHT into the second parking lot and park.

PARKING ZONES

The Sugar Daddy Race has 3 designated parking areas for participants and spectators to park.

ZONE 1: Business Park

25350 Magic Mountain Pkwy

On the south side of Magic Mountain Pkwy and Wayne Mills Place. Enter the parking lot from Wayne Mills Place, park in front of the lot spaces away from buildings. Do not park in the shopping center.

ZONE 2: Wayne Mills Place

Wayne Mills Place (27500 Block)

From the intersection of Tourney Road and Wayne Mills Place, go west towards the 5 freeway. The north side offers a long stretch of curbside parking to the end by Denny's.

ZONE 3: Ave Tibbitts & Anzo Dr

Ave Tibbits & Anzo Dr

For locals familiar with the area, this is the back entrance to the business park. From either Rye Canyon or McBean Parkway, go to Ave Scott, then take Ave Tibbitts and drive down toward the Paseo entrance.  Curbside parking all along Ave Tibbits and Anzo Dr.  Walk toward the paseo and follow to the Iron Horse Bridge.

PARKING DETAILS

Parking

Race day parking will begin at 5:00 AM. All cars need to park in the designated zones noted above or be dropped off.  On Friday, it is okay to park at the Iron Horse Trailhead parking area for early check-in.

Carpool

To help ensure there is enough parking, we encourage everyone to carpool to the race. If you are running with friends, then buddy up and ride in one car to the race.

DROP OFF ZONE

The Iron Horse Trailhead features a great drop-off zone, but no parking. If you can be dropped off in the morning and picked up after the race, that can help save parking spaces.

WALK TO start

Once parked, walk to the intersection of Tourney Rd and Magic Mountain Pkwy to cross the street, then use the sidewalks and shoulder to access Iron Horse Bridge and Trail, the race festival is located right before the bridge.

NO JAYWALKING

To ensure everyone's safety, please use the crosswalks at Tourney Rd and Magic Mountain Pkwy to cross the street, DO NOT jaywalk. It is a wide street, and traffic on Magic Mountain Pkwy can move very fast.

PARKING TIPS

Do not block any driveways or cars, do not park outside of designated parking zones, and cars will be towed. Lock your car and do not leave any valuables visible. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
